Can someone please host this patch for me?

I haven't downloaded a single K from the blizzard downloader, and it's been a couple of hours.

I really hope this downloading server gets better.

I finding its much better to just disable the peer 2 peer. Its just as fast if not faster and doesn't keep getting dropped.

Take this time to change all your *.toc files in your interface/addons folder.

Quote:
Important reminder about patches!
When WoW is patched, the ## interface number (in the modname/modname.toc file) will no longer match that of the WoW UI. If you start WoW without changing them, the mod will not load, and any custom settings for that mod will be lost.

To prevent this, go into your World of Warcraft/Interface/Addons directory and, in each of the modname directorys, find the modname.toc file and change the ## Interface: xxxx so that xxxx is the magic number. Alternately, wait for the mods to be updated and re-install.

The number for this patch is reportedly 4150.

What do you use to open the .toc files to change them and does this fix the dowloading problem?

I use notepad. You can use it or your favorite text program.

No it does not fix the DL problem. It just will make it so that your addons work once the DL is finnished.

I am at 40% now. :?

One of you Wile E. Coyote, super-geniouses needs to write an ACME replace script to do this for us. By hand, that takes long than downloading the darn patch.

Done. Get the file here and put it in the AddOns directory. Open it with notepad and change the "OldStr" and "NewStr" strings. Save, quit, and double-click the file. It will replace all the occurences of OldStr by NewStr in all the .toc files of all the subdirectories of the diretory where its launched and make backups of the modified files in .toc.bak. If you need more help, tell me :)
