I love how the hand tooled environment has so many interesting and memorable details. There is something to see everywhere you go!

These were taken from my Stress Testing.

Getting a group together to go raid Booty Bay. Note our "shady" guild name. :)

All is quite when we land at the city's dock...
Image

There was much fighting once we got further, but you don't see any of it because I was to busy healing to take pictures.. Believe me when I say it took us a while to get to the top of this tower.

Image

Not a human, Nightelf, Drawf, or Gnome to be found- the city is ours! Maybe because they were tired of being destroyed, or maybe they were just tired. Was late. :)

Those are some great screenshots Warnel. Thanks for sharing.

Here is one pic I came across that I liked. Particularly I like the size of those statues.

I love it when NPCs help you kick trogg ass.

For level 12, I looked pretty damn good.

My avatar got a little confused and somehow embedded his rifle in his collar. Here he is trying to pry it out... stupid dwarves. They weren't very helpful.

Me getting revenge on this damn Tauren shipmate of Van Cleef's. Now I have his maul, and I kick ass.

For those of us who have not gotten to play WoW yet, I found this old movie showing a gnome running around in ghost mode.

This site has great WoW movies. http://www.warcraftmovies.com/ Yesterday I could not get any of the movies to load, but early this morning they all loaded very quickly.

So far I watched all the Warlock movies, and JuniorX's Rogue Movie. I really like them, being that I did not get to stress test the game, these movies are my only window into how the game works.

I recomend the JuniorX movies for guys like me that have not played WoW yet. JuniorX's movies start at charecter creation, and they show you they first quests and spells... basicaly they show you the first 45 minutes of play. After seeing a few of his movies, they do get old because the first kill and gather quests are the same... but if you want to see how to get new spells/abilities and and how they work, these movies do a good job showing you.

Did you have to install a Codec to get the JuniorX movies to work? If so do you know which one?

I did not have to install anything, my Windows Media Player 10 had everything it needed.

Hmm, upgraded to WMP10 and still no dice. I'd love to know which codec it needs, but I can't figure it out.

Can you play the movies on the WoW site? Way back in the day I had to DL DivX to play them. WoW has links to get DivX here http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/downloads/

You may need to re-install the DIVX codec if you've recently upgraded Windows Media Player. MS doesn't necessarily always play nice when it comes to the codecs of others, shocking as that may be.

So is it working now or not?

I really hope you get them working because I have enjoyed them more than I would have thought. I sure do not want you guys to think I am a huge dork, but for the last few mornings I have gotten out of bed only to lay back on my office couch watching these WoW movies. They are very long, 45minutes to an hour, and they are very versatile. You can use them to lull you back to sleep with the hack and slash sounds in the background… or they can wake you up watching the guy get new skills and use them as he plays.

That was me trying to be funny, but it is also 100% true. It is my new morning routine. Once you see a few, they start to be kind of the same… unless you are interested in the different skill sets, and/or different locations. I am interested in that kind of thing, so they are my cup of tea.

Well, I got one to work, and a couple of the other juniorx ones haven't.

Do you stream them or save them?

This screenshot right here is what the current new character creation looks like! :)

Some screenshots of the huge monkey. I got these off of some website, many months ago, probably in the early stages of the beta.

These pictures are either of a dragon, or a drake. Now at the time these were taken I don't think the dragon was actually in the game, and just a couple of weeks ago the dev's said they've been working on the actual game dragon, so I think they finished it. If this is indeed a drake, well then the dragon will probably be 1000 times harder and bigger, hehe. (These screenshots are old btw, I think some months ago)

I did say cool. You didn't hear me? hm......

I guess since you can't hear me I'll just have to type it instead. Don't go accusing me of not following directions though, cause I did say cool.

COOL!

No offense DF but I hate that show. It's almost like all the attention that show got took attention away from Farscape.
