If you only have a few minutes to get the game installed etc, then you can't play for weeks, or you're headed out of town, whatever, see above.

If you can just get in game and start all the characters you might play, horde and alliance, when you actually get to play them you will have two levels worth of rested exp. This will boost your initial leveling (already fast) to an even faster rate. You will also be a higher level when leaving the starting area, putting you at an advantage in the tougher areas.

This advice is geared for everyone but especially people who might not be able to play right away.

Rested Exp will make MCS that much more an attractive option.

It's also good for reserving any names you'd like to have.

The rested xp has a cap on it, although I can't remember how much it is. It becomes a whole lot more beneficial in the higher levels.
