I'm stuck at school. I showed up to my first class only to discover it has been canceled. While waiting for my next class I stumbled across this post in the WoW forums. Looks like everything is smooth so far.

It is still very early, stores wont open over here for another 2 hours. I don’t think we are out of the water until after the Pacific coast reaches mid-day and the guys over there start hitting the servers. But so far early reports are looking very good.

Let us know how release is going for you!

Hehe, all I see on the official boards is griping that the stores did not have enough copies of WoW for everyone. No mention of any problems with the servers themselves.

Well I got everything set up without any problems. Even got my name without having to modify it.

Now to get Rylanne set up and then it is back to school.

Some lag in the Gnomish Newb area and in the Human Newb area. My horde character has had no lag so far.

My Dad haggled some guy at EBX/EB world, and he gave him a Collectors Eddition of World of Warcraft. I just have to set it up, and create a character when I have some free time tonight or tomorrow.

It's going great so far. I have a ping of around 100-200. I've created a Paladin Character called Dazarc whose currently level 4.

This has gotta be one of the smoothest launches yet. I got in no probs (slow download of patch due to router not configured) but all in all very impressed.

Now this WoW noob has to figure out what the hell is going on...

Seems fast and comfortable. A little bit of lag, a couple people whining about it...

Does anyone know how to get the CE extra animal to follow them? I didn't see anywhere to do that...

Once you call the little fella, he should tag along after you without any command.

Some lag, but not too terrible.

I have seen worse with SWG weeks after launch.

Feeling the lag like everyone else, but nearly as bad as in the ST/OB.

I think we have a really good server. Thanks Tobiasds!

R-click on either the gem, leash or whatever-you-get-from-Melissa-for-the-zergling.

Anyone of you having problems with the server being full and haivng to wait in line to play? I notice a lot of posts on the official forums, and even Scott Kurtz complained about it. And usually he is very supportive of MMOGs.

Edward
just wondering

had a few laggy spots.. but nothing too bad... didn't die from it in other words, hehe...

Most of the lag involved my crafting and looting of corpses..

Only lagged with a couple looted corpses and for the little extra.

I saw someone name it Little Diablo....very cute even if he did have pointy teeth.
