I logged in with the Alpha Cosmos load and had a hard time figuring out why I couldn't see any text input.
Cosmos, it seems, has added a much more flexible chat UI mod recently. However I also encountered that the default settings were blank, and therefore no text items of any kind were showing up in the main or combat chat.
After a couple seconds of clicking, all was well in the universe, but it certainly had me scratching my head for a bit.
Hopefully they patch it quickly and you won't have to go thru the same exercise.
