Post subject: | Needs threads |
I am starting up a bunch of threads where crafters should list their needs and what they can produce. Members should post in these threads then edit the threads as their needs change. When you require an item try to request it from a person who has it listed as the one of the highest things they can create. This will give developing crafters exp while still getting the item to the person who requests it. I may not finish today, if not and your profession is not listed just follow the format of the threads already up and start your own. Hopefully these will get stickied some place. |

Remember this? http://www.swg-avian.net/v_tiers.php Might take some work fine tuning it for WoW but I think if the players and making sure people update it but that could be useful. |

Might take some work fine tuning it for WoW but I think if the players and making sure people update it but that could be useful. Warnel, Obo had a thread about that in the Admin forum, so he had been thinking about it. I haven’t seen anything beyond that original thread. |

Oh okay, hmm. I'm not sure if Obo is playing or not, but I don't think so. He might know a ton about the game though. I was thinking that everyone playing might have to pitch in to help organize the catorgies if we wanted to ask for something like that. Race- | Human | Drawf | Gnome | Night Elf | Orc | Troll | Undead | Tauren } Class- | Druid | Hunter | Mage | Paladin | Priest | Rogue | Shaman | Warlock | Warrior Profession- | Herbalism | Mining | Skinning | Blacksmithing | Engineering | Alchemy | Leatherworking | Tailoring | Enchanting | Cooking | Fishing | First Aid | *Then each of those are broken down into ranks I believe. * |

Correct, Obo at that time was not playing WoW. To may knowledge he is not playing it now. That is why he asked me if WoW was teirable. Here is what I had to say in that thread, let me know if you think I missed anything: Cyrus to Obo wrote: After thinking about what type of type of character info we need to share between fellow members, I think it would be great if we could list our professions. Maybe just have a list of professions that we could check off showing that we are working on that profession. Maybe even have a text field where we could enter our profession level.
Beyond professions, it would be good to allow us to list our class also. I imagine this could be done using the same set up, maybe even the same page as the professions. I gathered the following information for you: Gathering Professions: Herbalism Fishing Mining Skinning Production Professions: Alchemy Blacksmithing Cooking Engineering Leatherworking Tailoring Service Professions: Enchanting First Aid Classes: Druid Hunter Mage Paladin Priest Rouge Shaman Warlock Warrior Input page Example wrote: Classes: □ Druid □ Hunter □ Mage □ Paladin □ Priest □ Rouge □ Shaman √ Warlock 14 □ Warrior Gathering Professions: √ Herbalism 53 □ Fishing □ Mining □ Skinning Production Professions: □ Alchemy □ Blacksmithing √ Cooking 12 □ Engineering □ Leatherworking □ Tailoring Service Professions: □ Enchanting □ First Aid Output Character Example wrote: Name: Cyrus Class: Warlock 14 Professions: Herbalism 53 ....................Cooking 12 Output Guild Example wrote: Classes: Druid .... Googla Hunter Mage .... Rho .... Rocky Paladin Priest Rouge ... Bob Shaman Warlock .... Cyrus Warrior Gathering Professions: Herbalism ... Cyrus ... Rho ... Obo Fishing Mining ... Bob Skinning ... Golga ... Tom Production Professions: Alchemy ... Danny ... Rylanne Blacksmithing Cooking Engineering Leatherworking Tailoring Service Professions: Enchanting First Aid |

Very nice. Instead of putting your ranking lvl with the profession, can't you use put what title you have? Skinning= Apprentice Skinning Journeyman Skinning Expert Skinning Artisan Skinning No idea where to find a list of all of the others, I was at a trainer to get those. |

Very nice, but I agree with Warnel, title would be better because it does not change that often... less need to update. Edward |

Ok I checked a site and it seems that all of the the professions (Gathering/Producting/Services) are broken up by 4 tiers- Apprentice Journeyman Expert Artisan Guess that makes it all a lot easier then doing it by lvls so I think we have about everything now if someone wanted to put it together for that listing. |
