Dangit, Cy beat me to it with his Priest convo thread! :P

Anyway, to the point:

I have a number of talent points available for my paladin and wanted to see what direction others were going and how they felt about their choices before I charged in. Thottbot has some tasty info on talents if you want to look more closely on what's available.

When planning, keep in mind that at level 60 you'll have 51 talent points at your command.

I used my first few talent skills on the healing stuff... making Holy Light stronger and less able to be affected by an attack, since it's the spell that saves my butt most often. For my other one I made Devotion Aura 5% stronger... I'm all about the defense and armor.

With Liro, I've decided I'm going to go 100% Holy for my talents. The mix of improved healing and the very tasty sounding holy damage granted during the higher levels makes it feel right for me.

I'm continuing to put all my talent points into Holy and so far, I'm really appreciating the bonuses! I can heal myself and others while being pummeled and bad guys have only a 30% chance of interrupting or slowing my spellcasting! Plus, I have a chance of recovering all the mana used for a heal when I get a crit success.

One last one: when I rez people, they get a 15% boost to their armor for a period of time (5 min I think).

<- Wants to party with Liro :P

What's your take on the Retribution line? Also, I saw a level 22? paladin with a spell that make creatures do 10 less damage per attack. That made this paladin extremely tough to kill.

I know Warlocks have curses that reduce damage output... a Pally spell like that is very interesting...

Grouping with Liro is fun, if you don't mind the smell...

I always thought those Holy Rollers bathed more... man, my PIG smells better than Liro...

I've been mostly doing armor enhancement stuff, and some stuff in holy, like holylight, and some other things.

I'm hoping the pally one is better than the warlock one, because at my lvl I can choose whether I want the mob to hit me for 15 less per hit (out of ~100) or doing 525 damage over 30 seconds, guess what I'm choosing.
