Hey all, I've been thinking that it's about time we start putting together some lists of useful stuff in game. To get you all thinking of such things, here's a little poll to see how you're using some of the add-on tools. I didn't play beta, so am kinda learning how best to play a little later than others. It took me a few days before I even loaded Cosmos (www.cosmosui.com). It's great, and I couldn't play half as well without it. It took another few days before I started looking up engineering recipes and quests on www.Thottbot.com - Now I can't imagine not having a web page in the background or on my laptop when I do so. What about yinz? How do you play? |

I play in windowed mode with Cosmo improving my UI so that I can swap search thottbot for quests/item info. You have a question about something, then you'll be able to fine it there! |

Can’t find a guy for a mission? Search Thottbot for the guy or the mission. Most of the time you can get a map showing all the locations other players have spotted the guy you are looking for. I use both Cosmos, and Thottbot.com frequently. From skills, talents, to recipes, and items; 9 times out of 10 I get my data from Thottbot. |

I've used Cosmos since I first hopped into Beta but only recently have I tasted the chewy, nougat-y goodness that is thottbot. |

I look at Thottbot sometimes for info in items and skills/talents. The quests in WoW are so much fun that it really feels like spoiling them if I read them before I take them. That's the first time a spoiler site for an MMOG is aptly named. Edward |

I don't use either of the 2. Not sure if I am missing a ton of good info or just don't need any yet since I'm only lvl 6/8. |

Its not jus the info, at least with Cosmos. It has a TON of useful features like extra quick key bars, a quest progess bar (for example, it tells you how many more boars you might have kill to complete a quest)- uhh well, you can read about a bunch here- http://www.wowwiki.com/Cosmos_AddOns I think one thing keeping Cosmos from really being popular (though it seems to be a hit already) is the main site doesn't to have much infomation about it explaining what it is. I had to hear about it from others and then search around to make sure it was something I wanted to try. Course I could just be blind and missed the page that had the details on it. |

And they removed the magic hand that allowed automatic item sorting ![]() |

And, just like schoolkids adicted to crack, it sure is painful when it doesn't work for a day after the latest patch. ![]() Using just one toolbar again has really slowed down my spellcasting and item-usage. ![]() |
