I haven't been collecting too much lately (largely fighting humanoids), but I think I am headed int oa new area soon (Wetlands or some other mid 20 location) Is there a need for a high level skinner? if so, what type of goods do you need. I am an herbalist/skinner and so far I don't hear much need for the skinning goods. Also, any good recommendation on lands that have plenty to offer (like a higher level Wendigo cave) Herbalism has been slow, but should increase as I recently hit 100. |

Yes, lots. I never have enough leather to make the stuff I want to. I manage to keep my main and my brother decently armored, but very little beyond that. |

Cetera is my leatherworker. Mail all you want to him, and I'll reimburse you for shipping. If you want leather armor made, let me know, and I can work on that, too, although Rylanne may be a better choice there, as I think she's a higher leatherworker than I am. |

I am also a leatherworker and a skinner....But, I cannot keep up. I am constantly short on leather. I really enjoy being able to "hook up" other Avians with better armor but it seems that I am always short of resources. I will gladly take any extra hides off of your hands, I also am more than happy to help anyone out with any leatherworking you may need (armor, quivers, kits,etc...) Any help is greatly appreciated. |

I find I am always short on resources, and even so I don't see tons of demand for leather items. Once in a while you'll find something, but then if you are thinking of selling it on the AH there are already 30 sellers. My Skinning is now over 200, and my leathercrafting is 165, so some nice stuff, but not that great a demand. Wetlands is great for leather, especially the excavation site. |

Go to the wendigo cave on a leathering expedition for light leather. There is an unlimited supply in there, a lot of it just laying there for the taking. |

The problem with Wendigo cave is that it takes tons of those scraps to make what you need for better lether items. You do get light leather there, but it is mostly scraps.... correct? 4 scraps make a light leather 4 light leather make a medium leather So level 138 leather pants use 12 medium leather in addition to all the other ingredients. So if you are at the Wendigo cave, you would need 192 leather scraps. It us usualy faster to farm harder animals that drop the meduim leather in the first place. However atleast a leatherworker can use his entry level look drops and upgrade them to higher quality. Them darn Alchemy peaceblooms are non upgradable. I would love it if I could take 20 peaceblooms and turn it into 1 kelp! ![]() |
