I go to this site for quest or item info from time to time. Not a bad site.

Their itemset information is the most complete info I know of.

Even Thottbot doesn't have all that info. I wonder how they got it.

most of them are lvl 50-60 so I think I might do this as an end game kinda thing.

Camp the Deadmines instance. The bosses there drop it (according to Thottbot).

I've heard they picked the info directly from inside game client files and as such the items might not even exist in game yet. How accurate this information is I don't know, but that's what I heard anyway.

Yep VC drops a piece. I had two pieces but sold them off. I imagine a higher level guy could camp the DM and get the pieces pretty easy. Not sure if they are bind on pick up though, I dont remember but I wanna say they are not.

Danyale has 2 or 3 Defias set items. She got them in the deadmines. I am not sure if all the other parts of the set are found in the same area.... I think the Defias story continues so if it does, the other parts of the set may be elsewhere

Yeah, going through the game library files with a text editor pulls out alot of interesting strings and such.

Yeah, that's what I suspect as well. I would call that kinf of information gathering "client hacking".

I had all the set peices except the chest, which I think is the VC drop. I had 2 drop from loot, and bought 2 in the AH. The bonuses were interesting, but in the end were not substantial enough to warrant continued searching.

It's tough, since if you get a better pair of gloves for example, you have to then weigh not only the difference between the old gloves, but the bonus you give up. Since the bonuses were not substantial, the item sets quickly got removed.

And you're less likely to switch them out because you outgrow them. Until they raise the lvl limit...
