I have been downloading the patch for about 15 minutes and so far I've gotten 16kb. If anyone downloads and could put it up for others it would be greatly appreciated.

Is the login server still down? I would guess yes since the main WoW site is down as well.

I got on earlier to Daggerspine which I have a toon on with some friends. I won't be playing again until the Cosmos Patch comes out.

The funny thing with cosmos is you never know what will prevent you from playing after patches, you just know it will be something. This time around I have all my extra bars but I am unable to open any of my inventory bags as they are apparently offset by cosmos to not overlap the sidebars (I think).

Anyway, as of now it takes an indeterminate period of time to login then I can't open the server selection list any way, so I am stuck on Daggerspine I guess.

I am unable to get to the character selection screen. I get a message saying "Unable to connect". Is anyone able to play tonight?

Everyone once in a while I can get to the server select screen but Dalaran isn't up anyways.

That post was at 3:35:57 PM PST... so about an hour and thirty minutes ago.

Which means no WoW tonight I believe.

Still no luck and is it true that this patch contains many of the features of Cosmos because I don't remember reading that? I need my reagent helper, I need my extra 48 buttons, I need my tacklebox... etc.

Just got the patch (thx Flyoc!) but no dice getting past the login screen.

Gosh durnit, now I gotta go do dishes instead of gettin' in game.

You need to delete all your cosmos files, then run cosmos.exe and choose the alpha version. That is the way to get cosmos back to normal.




Yeah Rho this patch has a quest minion, 3 new bars of 12 buttons.

The stuff they added is ok... but it is weak compared to the mods we are all accustomed to. I will likely start using a quest minion like mod, flexbar, reagent helper, and a few others.... and do away with the big cosmos package.

I was about to get mad when I logged in to see the server shutting down in 3 minutes. But then I read the Relm Status forums and it says they are only restarting it.

Well after some issues I was able to log in and form a group for Dire Maul. After 30min of tough PvP, we were able to get in and well, the place is great. It makes me think of Darnassus a bit We killed the first boss and I got a blue mail leggings...

I am planning on trying to do dire this weekend on Hunter and maybe next weekend warrior depanding on level i guess

Next weekend me and andris should be high enough level. Spring break starts tommorow after school!!!

Still can't get past authenticating a day after this patch. Anyone else able to login and actually play?

I smell 2-3 day credit period coming on...

I get through easy. Whenever it does do the authenticating thing you can usually get in if you just keep trying. Don't cancel the login just keep at it until it says unable to connect. Repeat until you get through.

Let it authenticate until it tells you unable to connect. You will get in... it is just slower than we are accustomed to.
