Why can't they do server maintanence earlier in the morning. SWG operated out of the Pacific timezone too, and they still managed to do it during a time that was convient for everyone. Blizzard has to right in the middle of the day.

i would prefer a early time like 6 am Pst or something. But anytime the servers go down it will effect someone out there.

Like for me i leave for work after 5pm so i enjoy playing a decent amount of time in the afternoon as it is really up in the air what time iw ill come home or if i can even manage to play an hour after work(sleepy).

What i thought blizzard was going to do(problay not even possbile) as they had server cut into east coast, west coast. Was to take them down and diff time. But that is problay a nightmare to do

Yeah... this is one of the few areas were I think the SOE way was better.

Bliz is still learning things SOE learned years ago with EQ. I just wish they would do the server maintenance earlier... so it would not effect my afternoon.

Well it looks like they picked our afternoon and evening now.

They picked my anytime of the day, because every time I log on, it doesn't matter what day or time, the servers I play on are down. When I goto bed, the servers are up, lol.

Looks like Dalaran has been down all day...

Tiny patch... how do they bomb the servers like this ?

Actually, we were hosting Dalaran on Moge's server... and the Hamster ate it.

I am guessing it is still down or went down as it is midnight now and i can;t get it

What I hate is how our server was not listed in any of the dev comments. They list several servers for extended maintenance, and they list several servers taken down for unique name violations…. Yet Dalaran was in neither list. I have been away for several days, and it just so happens that today was going to be my day back in WoW.

As screwed up as this situation is, I would not put it past bliz to have just completely forgotten to turn out server back on. Really I know that is not the case… but dam they are making them selves out to be complete fools when it comes to maintaining servers.

It also does not help that their forums are a joke. If the server is down 95% of the time so are their forums. It is sad when I have to go to 3rd party websites to find out any blizzard news.

Dalaran is back, and so is Shadow Moon.

This maintenance sucked.

Yeah, I actually got some sleep last night .

I figure sleep is what dieing is all about. A chance for pople to catch up on their rest.

Blizzard is now going to give us a full rested bonus. Which really helps me as i am now 58 1/2 and will get to 60 rested. So it is now possible for me to get it this weekend, but for other alts and crit below like 20 or even 30 you seem to be not getting much same with 60 players

During yesterday’s maintenance, upgrades were made to both the in-game client and to the hardware infrastructure. These changes caused extended downtime for some players.

In addition to providing a one-day time extension for players whose realms underwent extended maintenance, characters on all realms will be receiving a full rest state bonus. In order to apply this rest state bonus to all players, we will need to bring all realms down for approximately three hours, beginning at 3:00 AM PST, Thursday March 31.

So they are taking down the servers during the primetime of 6-9 pm est. I can't complain about it since they are giving full rested xp but they just further proved the point.

no, they are taking the servers down at 3 AM in the damn morning.. its primetime for china maybe....

I know its fun to bash on Blizz.. but damn... at least read

If so, can anyone confirm a full rest bar

Would seem i am fully rested, so it is all good. But i can;t seem to find my corpse again on my druid i ticketed a GM hopefully they will do something about it at some point
