Maili is a Alch/Herb and one thing I found is that just stockpiling all the herbs is a huge storage nightmare.

To make some gold I was thinking of just selling the Herbs and maybe picking up Skinning and selling those as well.

Is this a good way to make some gold? What sells best?

Resources are a huge money-maker. Prices kinda fluctuate a bit week-to-week depending on what else is being offered. Think my max one week was 70g just selling herbs (at that time goldthorn and sungrass were my big cash-hogs as I was selling stacks of them for like 8-10g buyout. I also found that mighty troll's blood potions were good for cash since they only require liferoot and bruiseweed to make (fairly low level stuff) yet a stack of potions would sell from between 1.5-3g.

The potions don't for nearly as much as the herbs it took to make them.
Why - no clue - I don't think I completely understand how the game economy pans out.

One 20 minute herb run will yield 5-7g.

Skinning would be good, and so would mining

Usually you can sell these things for far much more than the items you can make of them

However how much you get for a stack of leather or metal tend to differ from server to server

Check out the prices on your ah

And remember as miner you dont only get the metal, you get stones and gems too, that you can sell

And as skinner different types of scales

On my main Myzrael i did skinning/mining and i never regretted it, this way i never have to worry about money

Another thing you can do is to do a bit of "trading"

I did a lot of it starting up, I got myself some gold then i invested it, mostly in trade items i found very cheap

Cause some ppl are in such a hurry to sell items you can buy stuff very very cheap from time to time

So I checked ah what was average price and bought what i found very cheap (pearls, gems, stones, metals, fabrics....) and then i reintroduced them on ah to average price

Sure i had to stock a lot of gems and such in bank, but there is a lot of money to be made this way. However to do this you really need to know what sells good, and what dont

And you cant panic if you suddenly dont sell at all

You can also create a mule...If you have runecloth/rugged leather, you can get 100 slots very easily
