Last week one of you guys was kind enough to help me with some Warlock talent advice. In just a short time I could notice the improvement. In fact the day of the patch, I felt so odd with my talents missing.

However now that the patch reset my talents, I have run into a problem. I have torn my office apart looking for the notes I kept on your talent suggestions. I also forgot who it was that helped me.

I think I remember what to do, but I really want to make sure before I mess up and have to pay to reset.

I'd like to hear some feedback too! So far my lowly 'lock has just put points into the corruption speed talent thingy.

There are quite a few different Warlock Talent builds out there. Do you roughly remember what you did?

Was it an Affliction Build for Dark Pact? That's what I currently use after Kharlaq recommended it to me. Works like a charm without much downtime.

I love Dark Pact for leveling (though you cant get it till level 40 I believe).

Put your first 5 points in Improved Corruption. That will make it insta cast. Between your curse, improved corruption, and siphon life (when you get it), you'll have 3 insta casts that you can get off before the battle even really starts. Very handy in PVE and PVP.

My favorite build for leveling up was a drain tank type.

I would often cast immolate first, followed by corruption, curse of agony, siphon life. Now I'd have 4 dots on a mob. Then I'd send in the succubus for some added DPS. Odds are, the succubus wont have agro, so the mob will come gunning for you. Not a problem though, just use drain life continuely until the mob falls. You will lose very little health that way, and if you are low on mana.. just use dark pact and steal it from the succubus (remember, shes not using it, only her whip). Throw in first aid and you have almost no downtime.

With 5 points in Fel Concentration this is actually a very good tactic. Otherwise you get interrupted in your channeling way too often.
