Tired of spending time grinding for gold to buy a new piece of armor in the Auction House only to discover that, while the stats are great, the look leaves something to be desired? Some may argue that stats are the name of the game and the way your toon looks isn't anything to worry about, but why not have your cake and eat it too? With the Dressing Room feature in the upcoming patch, you can have both stats and a great look! Take a moment to learn more about this new, useful feature!

I think this was the one area where SWG had WoW beat. In beta I though this was the one area WoW should have done better.

The ability to view an item before buying it was a huge issue for me. SWG had its 3D renderings of items as icons, which was a really cool feature. WoW items icons are have almost nothing to do with the shape and look of an item.

However this dressing room is over the top. It goes beyond SWG’s 3D icons. The fact that this works with chat links really blows me away. On top of that the window can stay open while you walk to view items on other vendors…. They could have easily made this a part of the vendor window thus making the feature less helpful. However they took the cool road, and made something that is really useful for it purpose.

Now they just need to make the guild page larger and I will be totally happy!

That is the coolest thing in the new patch, and yes I am including the Arathi Basin.

Edward
thinks the Arathi Basin is pretty, though

Like many people have said about many MMOs it is the small details that keep players.

This is an excellent example of a 'you know what would be cool' idea that someone at Bliz had.

Funny how not chasing bugs and cronic balance issues opens up so much time for, what's that word?...content!

Exactly!

When you don’t have to spend all your time fixing your game… you have time to improve it!

It is amazing. I have looked forward to almost every batch in WOW. They always seem to be improving the game.
