Means not a group of friends nor guildmates just a group of players with one common purpose..

I beg to disagree about PUGs... With very few exceptions, I have had great luck with PUGs....

Watch out... if my wife hears you insult her dog, she'll nslookup your ip address, google map your house, fly to Dublin, follow that river up to your place, and dump your lifeliess corpse into it (the river that is). :)

You just haven't gone with the right people.... PUGs do have problems, but given the right group, you can do just as well as a guild group.... albiet without as much of the cutting up and trash talk.... :P

Seriously, if you go into PUGs expecting them to be great and expecting them to work right off the bat like a guild group, then you will be disappointed.... You can't expect a hastily put together group of people that have never grouped with another, have different ideas, different playstyles, and different levels of experience to mesh perfectly right off the bat.... Yes, PUGs can be a pain in the ass at times, but if done right they can be great.... :)

I have had some very GOOD and very BAD experiences with PuG's, most of them seem to be about fair. The important thing is to add the names of the GOOD to your friends list and then send out /tells when you need a few more, that seems to make PuG's better.

Best PuG I ever had was probably the 10 man Baron with no warriors or priests it went incredibly smooth and fast.

I'd say its a crapshoot but I believe you have better odds at craps. :D

I am like Z. I have ran UBRS in an hour and 5 min in a PUG and I have not even gotten very far in the door before it fell apart. Like Z said know some of the people you are going in with and it will be fine.

If you know people you are going with... its not a PUG.

Most important thing is communication up front about what you can do and what the leader expects. non-TS groups tend to have more mishaps.
