So what do you all think of the weather in WOW? I was in Tanaris last night and wow. At first I thought there was something wrong with my monitor until I remembered something about weather in the last update. I guess it was some kind of sand storm because it really affected my vision I could not see nearly as far as I could when the storm had passed I thought it was pretty cool.

All I need was a tornado to pop up and send my about 50 yards and it would be just like home...

I was in Un'Goro when it was raining. OK I guess.

Personally, I'd rather they put that devopment time into something worthier. Like fixing the damn server issues.

What server issues do you honestly still see?

But, I haven't had many saerver issues since the day after that last tuesday patch. I can even switch between characters during prime time.

Yesterday, I waited 10 mins waiting for my character screen to show. This happened twice.

And there's still a bit of lag when I go to Ironforge. :)

I realise, Arindel, that they are different development groups. Really trying to make a point that something that adds so little to the game like weather effects shouldn't be a priority. But, there were people asking for it, and it probably was a pretty easy thing to implement.

I like the weather effects and I think they do add some to the game. When I was in that wind storm I had to really look to make sure there were no beast or anything around me all the time because it was so hard to see. After the wind storm was over I had no problems seeing at all.
