That's pretty funny because last night the Baron dropped me, Mads and Cord...

The keyword for Strat is "methodical" Choose pulls slowly, pay attention to patrols and be ready at all times for eyes.

The Baron is our BITCH!

We even 4-manned him once WITHOUT a priest (SOB died right outside for some unknown reason, oh wait... I think he was AFK for the 90th time that night:)) and got the Baron down to 7%. If I would have had one more "oh shit" move we would have had him.

The keyword for Strat is "methodical" Choose pulls slowly, pay attention to patrols and be ready at all times for eyes.

Lock AE is channeled from what I understand, which makes me have to shield him every time he needs to AE.

The key to these Baron runs is to have some poor bastard who is out of his league and let everything aggro him. While he is dying, you can kill at your leisure. Just be sure to explain to him the importance of holding up those light posts.

Thanks again guys, I can't wait to go back. As of tonight I can start actually wearing some of that phat loot!

There is an upgrade quest chain where you can take the "Tier 0" items, Magisters in a Mage's case, and upgrade them to better gear, Sorcerers. I have 6/8 of the pieces upgraded, and I have the Magisters Robe already, so I just need the head piece from Scholo and finish the upgrade quest chain to get the full set.

Sorry for leavin early last night guys. Trying to at least maintain GF faction at the friendly level. Too bad about Baron. I think we need more practice in that area. Those bosses should not be as hard as we made them out last night.

BTW , Warlocks are not the prime choice for AoE. Especially 59th level virgins to Stratholme. All in all Decent run. Congrats on the Pants!

Yeah I think it became evident that you really need a good mage to make Strat run super smooth. Lock AE is channeled from what I understand, which makes me have to shield him every time he needs to AE. Which in turn makes me less mana efficient for healing. The best composistion for Strat imo is - warr - tank - priest - main heal and shackle - mage - AE/dps - rogue - dps and cc on the odd humanoid group - druid - dps and backup healer (and off tank if the cc is crap)

Locks best AE (hellfire - at least imo) does equal damage to both the mob and the lock. So, since they will most likely get aggro, not only is the shielding helping to keep the spell from breaking, but also to keep said lock alive by preventing them from getting nailed by both the spell and the mobs. And grats Manni! Finally, someone other than Titanus dropped your pants!
