Like the topic says. :)

http://beta.worldofwarcraft.com/

It seems that the epic flying mounts will cost 5000g each.

That is just retarded. 500g, Gimmie a f'n break Blizz. Most I've ever had was just above the epic mount required amount. And that was with selling a Hide of the Beast for a ludicrous 400g.

5,000 gold..... gg sirs, gg.

Some of the posts do say that in the new lands lvl 60+ it is easier to make gold too.

Oh joy...the Felguard is shaping up to be ok if it was a normal pet (ie: all locks get a quest for it), but not as a 41 point talent...why am I not surprised.

The word is that pet scaling is't in the beta client yet, and that the Felguard is expected to be buffed up, as well.

I wouldn't write him off yet.

I just wish they'd fix the Infernal and Doomguard so they aren't useless.

I read on the forums today that pet scaling is current in the Beta, and it depends on your gears. Doesn't seem like the warlocks are impressed though.

Well, my thing is that, being a 41 point talent, it should be more than just an upgraded voidwalker. Make it a rogue type, or an ice-mage type demon (to counter the imp), something like that.

If it was setup like our normal pets (imps, vw, etc), it would be cool, but as a talent, it needs to be equal in strength to the lock's other 41 talents. I liked the idea that some had to scrap the felguard and change it to a shapeshift-type spell similar to moonkin for druids, only melee-ish demon in nature. Not likely, but still like the idea *grin*

And the infernal and doomguard are, per Blizzard, "working as intended"

You're right. Looks like it's a recent addition.

As for the Felguard... some folks are calling it a waste of 41 talent points. Others are saying that it's a pretty good raid pet because of the AOE protection... but however you use it, it requires a lot of healing after fights.

I just don't think it's worth spending 41 points on at the expense of losing out on some really good Affliction talents.

I'm looking at a spec something like this:
http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/bc-warlock/talents.html?3502220512200105010002050033103250100500000000000000000000000000

all in all this is shaping up to be one hell of an expansion. Not only is it an actual expansion in the way of content and lands but it is bringing a ton of updates, items and tools for players to use outside of the expansed lands.

Bravo to Blizz!

Yeah I agree, I already have my preorder in and will pick it up the midnight release of TBC at our local Gamestop store.

I think it sounds like something that will even get the bored level 60's having fun again.

I can't wait. I just hope I can get my warlock up to 60 before it hits the shelves, lol. Only two more levels!
