WOW is doing something really cool here!

If you haven't seen it already, Blizz is making a WOW Arena Tournament. Basically how it works is that you pay $20 and get 3 lvl 70s. They can be any race/class you wish and all the battles will be in the 3v3 arena.

Now they are billing it as a way for elite players to battle against each other but it sounds like it would be fun for even scrubs like us. :)

Check out the link above if you are interested. There is an FAQ but I'm not sure if say Gnomes can be on the same team as Tauren, but hopefully we can get enough people together here to form a couple teams and have a good time!

Veru interesting. Now I gotta ponder if I would be good enough to compete competitively and pay the $20. May be kinda cool just to do it for fun if anything else and have equal gear as others for a change.

For me it is worth the $20. It'll be fun to try out different builds and combos.

My three...

Shaman, probably Troll, want to try Resto and probably Enhance.
Priest, either dwarf or undead, would like to mess w/ Shadow and Disc.
Pally, most likely a belf or a dwarf. RET FTW!

The idea of this is brilliant. Give players an equal footing in an arena setting w/o the bother of leveling. I'm all for it.

I do know that I'll likely get clobbered but it's worth it to try out the different classes/specs.

It is pretty brilliant - it's fairly cheap for anyone to join but any and all costs incurred by Bliz will be completely covered.
