Famke mentioned this to me, and I decided to check Wowwiki. Turns out it's true, albeit undocumented!

It's been on the PTR for at least a few weeks now. Hopefully it'll stick. I cannot begin to imagine how many tokens I've deleted...

I'm pretty sure it'll stick. A lot of people have complained about having a stockpile of tokens and not being able to do anything with them.

What's interesting is that Arena season 4 will probably start sometime in April/May, based on how long previous seasons were. Might be time to start saving up honor/tokens so when s4 hits, so you can buy s2 gears -- assuming they replace s1 gears with s2 gears for the vendors.

I was meaning to look for some hard evidence but I forgot. lol

Thanks for finding that! I had heard that from random BG chat but we all know how much salt should be taken with that! :roll:

I do remember reading a blue post saying that they had a great response from putting S1 up for sale through honor points and they would probably keep that trend for the upcoming seasons. I would search out the link but I'm on my way out the door. I'll try to remember later!

Also, Thermoon... We should area this weekend! Give it a practice go, at least! I may not be on tonight, and if I am it will be much later in the evening but I should be off and on tomorrow, if you'll be around!

It has indeed been stated by a blue that S2 will be availabe for honor when S4 starts.

I check out mmo-champion.com every day and they always have important blue updates and changes/additions to the upcoming patches. They do a great job of summarizing the stuff that matters.

Very nice to hear that confirmed! And thanks for the site, always nice to save some leg work... the wow forums are rough to sift through and as far as I'm concerned their "search" function is totally broken. :roll:

Yeah, WoW forum search is useless. You'll have better luck using Google, which also archives old posts that have been deleted from the actual forums.
