WTF?
I got a message from Blizzard on Oct 9th that I was successfully enabled to play the Burning Crusade, then just got a message thanking me for renewing my subscription, or something. I have done nothing of the sort. Do people get hacked fairly often? I am requesting a refund for the one month subscription that was paid for off my credit card, as far as I can tell.
$15 is no big deal, but I am more worried as to what is going on and how much information of mine has been compromised.

after you got the first message did you log in at all, even just to the Login Server? (entering your password, but not playing) If so then they probably triggered the reactivation of your billing.

WoW has done that before where they offer vets a Free Trial, and if you log in to it, and still have valid billing info in their system, then they will reactivate the billing once the free trial is up, unless you Manually cancel.

I didn't touch it, as far as I can remember. Still waiting for a response from the billing people.

I got a similar message saying it was unable to use my credit card to make a payment as the number had expired. Hadn't gone to that sight in a year. Made me think someone got a hold of my account or something. Weird.

Are you sure it's from Blizz? Lots of fake emails etc going around.

I would check your credit card bill to make sure they actually billed it.

And yes there are tons of hacks going on all the time.
