Post subject:  Dalaran Server - EU or US
Hello from sunny Belgium (not really :wink: ),

As you can see from my join date and the fact that I'm #1 in the member list, I'm an old member of Avian from the time of the SWG beta and release.

I currently play WoW on EU servers, mainly on "Les Sentinelles", a French non-pvp rpg realm.

Even though I don't recognize many names here on the forums, it seems the mindset has not changed since I left, so I'd like to join once again the reacquaint with Avian and its members. But to do that, I'd need the answer to a small question: is the guild on the EU or US Dalaran server?

We are on the ES Dalaran server but not many people play on it. Maelstrom has a great horde group going though. I can get you access to that forum is you do not already have access.

Oh, and wow, I do remember you from way back when. I think you had left before I joined (5 years ago) but still. Yeesh, been a long time :)

I'm home now, and I just noticed you said ES, and I misunderstood it at work. Since there is no EU Maelstrom server, I guess it is in the US, which means I can't play with my account :(

Yeah, our Horde group is on the US Maelstrom server. But you are not missing much as a couple of us are taking a WoW break for a while.

The Maelstrom group is in a hiatus of sorts...

There are only about two Avians who still play there currently and they are in a non-avian guild called Dark Days. Swift and Dazon are the names of their mains there.

Of course it sound like you can't join...why is that? I thought you could join any US or ES server you wanted.

Dais just hit 80 on US Dalaran, I still play alot, but am in the Azeroths Elite guild with several other exAvian guild members

Grats on 80!

As Cord mentioned, myself and Dazon are the only active Avians playing on Maelstrom. I'm on a bunch these days and can get you an invite into Dark Days, our current guild if you like. Good folks and very casual. Good mix of PVE and PVP.

Swift is 77 and would like to "thank" his inlaws for forcing him to travel during the Thanksgiving Holiday and miss 4 prime days of leveling.

Dazon is Unglued's Rogue. His new main, or at least I never see him on Unglued. Already 80 as well. He must not have inlaws. :(

I could join any server I want by modifying a file in the installation directory so that it would connect to the US login instead of the EU login (or any private server, actually), but US and EU accounts are separate, so I would have to pay two monthly fees to be able to play on both servers :(

Didn't think about the server fees.
Thats why Sluggy never joined with us.
