Just wanted to post a bit on PVP in space.
Note: maybe be some wrong things here but the basic facts should be correct.
to PVP you have a few options.

Anyone Rebel or Privateer can go to any Rebel Space Station and Declare Overt
Any Imp or Privateer can go to any Imp Space Station and Declare Overt.
Any Master Pilot with 30k in prestige points can to to either a Rebel or Imp (depending on faction) space station and go to Kessel or Deep space. This is a full on PVP zone(s). If you are Privateer you are asked what faction you wish to fight for.

Last time I tested PvP, when your a Privateer, and you enter it doesn't ask you what faction you want to join because your already in one. Privateers count as a faction in space, and even were broken up into their "squads" in (RSF/Freelancer/Corsec) at least in the PvP zones less they changed something on me.
