Well not yet, but TH and Tiggs both said it 'should' go live today.

I like that they are not going straight to Blue Frogs. It will allow everyone a chance to play unbuffed and low level content with no armor. <- it was said that n00bie toons will have no armor certs. :)

I was going to log on to the test centre again but discovered that I had five hours worth of patches to download (on broadband) so didn't bother! I'll wait until I've got my new hard drive kitted up and then try it.

Started the DL now. Says its gonna be 10+ hours? EIther my cable connection has dropped to dial-up speed or this thing is mammoth in size.

did you have TC installed prior? It only took me like 10 minutes to get this patch.

My initial TC Dload a while ago was like 3-4 hours though.

New icons, new graphics, new weapons... I see a lot of CU art that is client side.

A lot of the weapon art was already on the client since Pub 9, 10.
This was only 23MB, but there will be more to come.

To reduce the download, copy all of your .tre files from the regular SWG directory to the TC SWG directory. That should help. Only took me about 6 hours to download the TC stuff overnight, and my 56K connection sucked badly because of some storms.

I was in a group lastnight, killing in groups is 10x faster. Even if you score 1 hit on the Mob you get full XP.

I am 2003 Marksman. There is another bug (or many not a bug) where you can use Bug Bombs and do 500 Damage to a huge Radius so COmbat XP is super simple.

yeah oddly enough Character Levels and Mob Levels are now important. Your Level is in the upper Left corner the Mobs level is in the middle of its Con box.

It looks like you can only Solo things that are 1-2 levl higher than you. I beat a level 7 Nightspider (barely) but got owned by a lvl 8 NPC.

PVE Combat

* Killing targets lower level than you now gives less xp. Grey conned targets will give little to no experience

Professional changes

Missions / Quests

* Missions will now spawn at your group level. A level 30 group will get a level 30 mission which will spawn level 30 targets regardless of target type.
* Mission levels are capped based on the location of the mission terminal. High level misison will never be available at starting cities and other low level areas and conversely low level misisons will never be available at high level areas
* Mission payout amounts listed is now the amount that will be given to every group member that is in range of the mission success location.
* Mission payout scale is based strictly on the level of the mission and the distance from the mission terminal
* Mission targets will now spawn different amounts of enemies based on group size

UI

* Added showing object names near players back in. The "show X" checkboxes in the options->misc page will work again.

Fixed an issue that wouldn't allow a player's name with two lines to be viewed properly
*
Fixed a bug in background of toolbar when changing its size horizontally
*
MMORPG (modeless) keymap: swapped F1 through F12 toolbar shortcuts with the numeric key row (0-9, minus, equals). this will require a "reset to defaults" on the keymap settings if you're currently using this keymap.
*
Added a buff timestamp display to buff icons in your target window
*
Food, spice, and medical messages will now be shown as spam in the combat window instead of as system messages in the middle of the screen
*
Another iteration of the toolbar and the way it shows combat states, along with a few bugfixes. Let us know what you think!

Added some ease in double clicking small or moving objects in order to make it easier to default attack at large distances.
*
Player inertia tweaks from live have been ported over to combat upgrade
*
Changed 'Can't see' flytext to 'Can't see target'
*
Fixed a bug in the buff system that affects persisted buffs, potentially greatly increasing their time to be active
*
Updated line of sight code to better handle non-creature objects (lairs, turrets, etc.)
*
Fixed potential issues related to moving across server boundaries

You can no longer trade while incapacitated or dead.

Players will get a system message when they reach the limit for an experience point type for their current skills.

Ive read that the XP fix is in. Im logging in now to test that. Armor, even though listed as ingame now, is still disabled on Frogs.
