Like many Wookiees, members of the Myyydril Tribe were enslaved by the Trandoshans, who subjected them to harrowing horrible tasks and mistreated them daily.

Wookiees from the Kerritamba Village helped them to defeat their captors and welcomed them into their village with open arms. They lived in peace for many years. Unfortunately, the peace and friendship between the Myyydril Tribe and the Wookiees of Kerritamba came to a crashing end as the Myyydril Tribe leader, Hosdra, sought to assassinate the village Chief after a misunderstanding. Pride took over the once-compassionate mind of Hosdra, setting him off into a whirlwind of hatred and greed...earning a desire to kill.

As a result of the betrayal, the Myyydril Tribe were outcast, thrown to the wilds to die. After days of long journey, the Myyydril Tribe came across the "Mysess Glade" and settled into a large, forgotten cave with twisting paths located in the copse of thick trees and Mysess blossoms. The cave had natural light sources and provided water and food (edible mushrooms). More importantly, it provided shelter from those who wished to harm them.

Years past and the Myyydril Tribe had proven to be a hearty people, adapting well to their new cavern home.

Bane of the Myyydril Tribe

Years past and the Myyydril Tribe had proven to be a hearty people, adapting well to their new cavern home. One day, a wookiee child came back to the cave from a day of adventure and fun, holding a small round object. The Myyydril elders permitted the child to keep it and the wookiee youngster kept it warm. To the surprise of all Myyydril tribesmen, the round object hatched, producing an odd creature with tentacles and a brain as a body. Before the Myyydril elders could react, the creature scuttled off into the darkness. The Myyydril tribesmen soon forgot about the odd being. It looked harmless after all...

Myyydril Wookiees began to disappear one by one, from a colony of hundreds to the miniscule few left today. More sightings of the odd creature from long ago began to surface and a hunting party was dispatched into the dark depths of the cavern. What beheld the eyes of the Myyydril hunters that day would not be soon forgotten. In one of the larger rooms of the cavern, located deep within the earth, were more round objects; objects that were very familiar to the Wookiees. Months ago, a child had brought one back... the object could only be assumed an egg sack, containing the odd creatures remembered. The Myyydril tribesmen began calling the creatures Urnsor'is ("The Mind Pods"). It was learned that the Urnsor'is were parasites, latching onto the skull of their victim and feeding on them. The Myyydril elders believed the Urnsor'is to be sentient, easily able to assume motor functions of their victims. However, it was assumed that the victim didn't attain any intelligence and walked aimlessly, faces expressionless. This is what had happened to so many of their friends...

The battle between the Myyydril Tribe and the Urnsor'is continued. The Myyydril Tribe became quickly outnumbered and the Wookiees of the cave came close to extinction...

Now, the Myyydril Tribe lives in the Myyydril Cavern, away from harm. However, they have their own battles to face; that of the Urnsor'is and the Poltur Virus.

Myyydril Cavern Quests

The Myyydril caverns are not only the home of the Myyydril tribe, but also a place of stories. The Myyydril caverns are deep and mysterious, filled with adventure that can be experienced over and over. Some of the characters that players will meet on their journeys include the tribal leader, the village doctor, a tailor in need of unique supplies, a weapon smith, the village chef and even a smuggler. Here are some of the stories you may choose to be a part of on your journey:

"Running out of Supplies"

Yraka Nes, medical doctor of the Myyydril Village, is fast running out of supplies. The last affliction of the Poltur Virus wiped out her stock. She didn't expect the next case of the Virus to show up so quickly. She needs to stay at the village in the Myyydril Caverns to tend to the wounded. Will you be able to help her find the ingredients she needs to help fight off the Poltur Virus?

"Nak'tra Crystals "

Kallaarac needs the help of a crafty weapon smith. Since normal weapons seem to do very little against the dreaded Urnsor'is. Kallaarac has noticed there is much potential in the Nak'tra Crystals that lie deep in the caverns. They are very tough and would probably make good weapons. Now all he needs is a brave adventurer to help gather them up..

"Webweaver Blankets"

Yraka Nes needs the help of skillful tailors. Special blankets are needed to help those that have been afflicted with the Poltur Virus. Sadly, the last batch of blankets were destroyed in the most recent Urnsor'is attack. Yraka Nes needs more of them, and quick! Unfortunately, the village tailor Monsurra was also afflicted with the horrible virus. She is on the road to recovery, but it will take time before she is healthy enough to make the blankets again so Monsurra and the others need blankets fast. Will you brave the Dead Forest to gather the special threads needed to create the blankets?

"Luilris Mushrooms"

With everything that has been happening of late, Yraka Nes and the rest of the Tribe have been too busy to collect and make Luilris Mushroom pies. She needs the help of Enterprising and adventurous chefs to help her feed the tribe.

"Urnsor'is"

Recently, there have been many attacks on the village. Kallaarac and his tribe are growing less tolerable by the minute. Your task, should you take it, will be to help defend the village from dreaded mind-pods.

"Save Froera"

Attiera stresses over the loss of her Wookiee child, Froera. Last time she saw her wookiee child was when she went into the cave to gather more mushrooms. Please help this distressed mother find her child before anything happens to her!

"The Art of Smuggling"

The Urnsori'is are getting bolder and attacks are occurring more often. Recently, a shipment of their Nak'tra Crystal Rifles were stolen. Kallaarac desperately needs these weapons back to protect the village. He suspects the Empire to be involved and needs a scoundrel to find the weapons, no matter who may have them and return the shipment and return to Kallaarac.

There are both. The game is a mid to high level expansion. There are many quests you could go on and many quests you should bring friends
