My character on TC is a Master Smuggler/Master Commando/BH 0040. Wearing Rebel Assault Armor (love that stuff!) and with the standard frog-given Doc buff. CL 80.

Went to Dath, ran into a lair of Rancors (CL 50) and proceeded to pull one after the other, slaughtering them. Seemed a lot easier than on Live. My health bar stayed full the entire time. And I only got 1xp per kill.

Not very happy about it.

A lot of the creatures still have to be balanced.

Yeah, I kinda figured that... when a dwarf nuna can hit me for 1500 damage, and a Rancor can barely scratch me, I figure something is a little off.

UPDATE! The Devs have beefed up Rancors a little more. Either that, or they spawned a little higher level since I was in a group.

Still soloable... mostly. It can get a little hairy. Everyone get ready to become Neutron Pixie addicts, because it REALLY helps now.

4 man group, we were holding our own against multiple targets. 2 of the guys left, and we decided to keep killing... started with about 6 Rancors around a lair, whittled it down to one. I used my plasma flamethrower to hit the rancor and let the AOE damage the lair (since attacking a lair directly will make you CTD). 6 more Rancors popped out immediately, and all Hell broke loose. My new buddy and I got a real quick trip back to the outpost by way of Cloner Airways. At one point, we were almost dead, and the Rancors suddenly broke off and ran back to the lair. We thought we had lucked out big time, until they came running back and finished us off.

I still have a few issues with the CU. And I am overlooking the constant CTD's right now. All of that aside, this was the most fun night I've had killing stuff. Dathomir is no longer a walk in the park, no matter what class you are. You really have to watch where you're walking, or something nasty will jump up and bite you in the ass.

Anyway... anyone else having any kind of good hunting ecperiences with the CU?

I headed out to Yavin with my MRilfe/MBH/0040Pistol and had some fun. Had a hard time finding things that where not grey though.

All NPCs are either Grey or Purple/Red. Devs said they are fixing this though.

All in all. I love the Log in and go aspect of the CU. Should make group hunts much more fun.
