Man, that dude with the double cyber legs just looks odd. Kinda scary should RL ever get to this stage.

Yeah it looks better if only one leg is changed.

yeah .... looks kind of bad with both legs.

I think the image would be better if the cyber parts were beefed up a bit. Right now 3PO has better body mass and aparent strength than that. I am sure Ep3 may change my mind... but right now they seem to small and weak.

Yeah but if they just looked like normal ones you lose the point in creating the graphics. If you then have no graphics, why include cybernetics at all? In game terms, you want to actually see that someone has an implant. Also, if you remember the end of Epi II (the wedding scene), Anakin doesn't actually have a life-like looking cybernetic arm. I suspect that those don't come in technologically until a bit later.

They look ugly. I don't like them.

Not much else to say on the matter.

the limbs are built with titanium alloy which is stronger metal material, but much lighter, thinner with less mass.

"Its what they used to build the space shuttle" - Lt. Dan in Forrest Gump while pointing out his own titanium cyber limb :P

As far as I know the organic-like implants weren't fully developed before the clone-wars ended. After the Clone wars it was made illegal to make clones, but it was allowed to make organs like skin, heart, lungs etc for medical cause.
In Luke's case the rebel alliance could't get to a complete organproduction facility so the made a droidehand and covered it with real skin.
After Thrawn was defeated at Bilbringi it was disallowed to make complete organs because of the possibility of making a clone with the organ facilities.

This is not confirmed and I am speaking completely in EU terms.

you got a point there. No matter how eerie looking I may think the limbs are now, if these new cyber limbs allow me to get a worthwhile jump on a skill bonus or two, I maybe first in line for one! hehe

Those head implants in KotOR were cool looking. I would take one of those any day over the current ones.

And lets face it... this is SWG's tie into EpIII. EpI gave is droid armies. EpIII takes it a step farther and we have cybernetics in the form of General Grievous, Darth Vader and who knows what else. EpII gave SWG the GREAT ”Cloning Facilities” tie in.... SWG needs/wants to tie into the new movie some how.

These Cybernetics are what they have chosen... and what makes you think this tie in will be any better than the continuity destroying Cloning Facilities. They will be the next leet everyone must item… and in the process, if everyone has them, they will be another reason SWG should have been in a different part of the timeline.

Not to mention that from the looks of it, it would take away a man's reason to live....

Nah, Droid Masters have been making replacements for those for years... just discretely, mind you.

PM me with your orders. :)

Actually, I kinda like the cybernetics and how a few of them look. It'd be cool if you could just have cyber hands... or get other implants (ala KOTOR).

I've always wanted to implant a music system into my earbones and synch it to my internal chemical and biological systems... kinda give me a soundtrack to my life that I could control with biofeedback or with direct feedback.
