Finally actually started making armor today. After days and days of factory runs I made 2 (yes only 2) suits of Rebel Battle Armor.

they came out very ell. 6215/6215/5451 (Kinetic/Energy/Special Protection).
I only know of one AS who has made better and he is on Intrepid.

I should have some awesome Jedi Hunting armor done today. Recon Armor with Quad Energy layers. Should land in the 8000/3700/5900 range. Also should have some more Quad Prima stuff coming out as well.

I think Im mainly going to make Recon as that seems to be the best for PVP (energy protection = ranged protection). Battle will be a good general armor and Assult will be great PVE/Grinding armor. I can get Kinetic Assult to around 3700/8000/5900 which is great for the grind but not much else.

well crap!
I just pulled my Cores that I just spend a collective of 4 days making and wouldnt you know it I made Energy quad layer Assult Segments and not Recon Segments.

just totally screwed about 70 hours of factory time. AAARRGGGHH!

It will be a few more days until I can make any recon armor, which is what Moge is waiting on as well.

well Im about done with my first set of Rebel schematics. Ill be moving on to Imp for a round then probably back to Rebel.

Ill make my last 3 Battle Armor Schems with full Kinetic Layers and set them aside for us to use. They recently raised the Cond on faction armor from 42 to 64k so these sets will last a bit longer, wish it was retroactive. Oh well. A fix is a fix.

Do you think I could put in an order for some Reb Battle? I'm still running around in my postCU conversion Smurf blues.

I logged into my account for the first time since the CU/expansion last night, it gave me a chance to do the /respec but had to do so before i finished the gaming session. So i figured i'd take a look around, and decide what to do later....

I stepped out of my house, and got slaughtered by a vrelt standing on my door step.... (silly me, thought i could stand and fight a level 6 critter)

So, I re-rolled From Master Weaponsmith/Shipwright/Merchant (with some help from a friend that advised me on some decent abilities to have) to Master Weaponsmith/Bounty Hunter, with Pistol Stances 4. (for the stopping shot + a bit extra defense bonuses if it helps any)

Anyhoo... the reason i dug this thread up, was that from what i understand, i'm going to need some armor, and was wondering if i could order a suit of ... umm.. bounty hunter qualified armor.... (i have no idea what kind they can wear) Or faction armor, *shrug* i'm imperial. Preferably something that doesn't look.... less than cool.

Let me know if it can be arranged, and what i'll need to provide.

hiya sarrik. sounds like your friend set you up with a nice post CU temp. since your a bh your gonna need what is now called 'assault armor'. its just old style composite, chitin and some other less remembered favorite. Anything titled assault you will be able to wear. that includes factioned and any quest reward armors. I have an old composite suit I dont use anymore that your more than welcome to have. its not much in regards to quality, but it should get you by until you can get yourself a nicer stat suit. i also have some powerful krayted/regular bh weaps that you can have as well -just remember, now you gotta be not only certified, but leveled to use. just contact me in-game and ill hook you up.
