Well, it's official. We've snagged the next big cross server Cantina Crawl for Tusken's Bane. They will be filming the next CC movie too. I haven't an exact time of their arrival yet, but it should be around 7:30PM EST 6/18/05. If you've never seen one, they are a sight to be seen. See you there!

For those of you in militia, you have orders to ban anyone harassing during the event.

I'll probably start out in Kraytia and follow the crawl from within..

I watched how TB's main street leading to the cantina was decorated by the SOE event rep and city gov reps. It looks very nice and I havent seen anything decorated and transform like that since I was at disneyworld

Can everyone attending take a handful of screenshots and post them or send me copies?

I will unfortunately not be able to attend.

And like Erime, I watched Pex doing some of the decorating and it looks really cool.

For those that would like to be groupies or take part as entertainers in the event, the event starts in The Lost Pearl in Kraytia, and then goes on to visit several cantinas over the the whole planet of Tatooine.

It was a blast. I had tons of fun there and tons of laughs as well. By what i saw, it was an amazingly HUGE success. Chilly seemed to be the envy by all the other galaxies visitors. I guess they dont throw parties like we do and we threw one hella fiesta all over tat. My poor graphics card was begging for mercy at many points from all the crowds of people, but she continued to purr along nicely and didnt let me down. It was such a delight to see so many people at such an event in-game again. SWG is still far, far away from dying

well I was there and saw K'yp Erime and Yak as well. It was a really fun event and Tetran made TB look great (with the help of Pex).

I had to log before the event reached TB but I was at Arcanum and Bestine and had much fun. The Imp NPCs caused me some issues if Bestine but oh well.

Last I checked I held the Race record for the droid in TB but Im sure someone beat me out of my 238 time by now.

Grats to Tetran and everyone else who organized this event.

Sel was with me in Kraytia, but he had to log early before the festivities got in full swing. Mirabel showed up breifly in kraytia. She slapped me for flirting with dancers and left and didnt come back for the rest of the night. Obbo was the wild man at TB. He must have passed out there, cause we lost him after that.

All this reminds me, I'll have to look into doing another fireworks display at some point (anyone remember my last one :D)

I was not able to attend but TB really did look amazing! The banners flapping in the wind down main street, full bantha parking lot, and sandcrawler in the background. It was awsome. Kudoes to Tetran and Pex for that amazing job!

Antan - dunno if it was the last show that I saw but I recall they are quite spectacular. Let me know if/when you want some help.

I'll have to find some time first. I think my last one was done on the opening of Avian City, Talus. If I remember rightly, it involved about 500 fireworks!

Gladyou guys enjoyed the decorations. I only wished the crawl would have stayed longer. But, a few of us hung around through the evening, but that being a good thing is debatable.

X'iin had 234 I believe. I have no idea how you guys did it. I couldn't get that low and I laid out the race lol. I was going to log on Baylor with his jetpack to see how it went ;)

I used the AV-21. The time is made up at the second WP from there to behind Jabba. Picking the right path I think was key.

Now hoe someone cut 5 more seconds off, I have no idea. I thought the AV was the fastest ingame.

The jetpack is the same speed as the AV21, but has better terrain negotiation. It's usually a safe ride to Jabba's from TB on the pack. We'll have another race.... soon :)

What part do you need? I may have some ducted fans or fuel dispersals laying around. We've been trying to re-learn the place again. It can be done with the 20+ groups though lol. It takes time and patience with the mobs the way they are, but it's good to have it a challenge again. We were down not too long ago in a group of 5 (well, 4, Vegas' Billy from Fanfest was a CL14 at the time lol) and we were able to get to the 3rd room after a couple attempts. It's all about pulling one BD at a time in that room.

I too would also love to come to DWB. In another post I mention that I have a full set of BH armor waiting for the chance to get converted into Mando. Would be a blast doing that place past the first room (which is as far as I could get before running in solo pre-CU).

The thing about the desire to craft a full set is it would take a trip down for each piece (which is why you see the iconic helmet done first for people). After you are done crafting at the forge, your entire group is teleported outside the bunker back topside (sometimes it's just the crafter with the rest battling for another minute or so). It's a nerve racking experience crafting mando too lol. Sitting there dragging everything in, responding to the timers and questions, while watching everyone valiantly keeping agro off you. Good times :)

Hey, I came back to SWG to have a good time. If we can get a force to do multiple runs and get this suit completed, no amount of creds ingame would show my gratitude.

Put the suit up for display in TB would be a thing of beauty.

Aren't those things made to be worn rather than displayed?!

Only when fighting womp rats.

I don't want to get a krayt claw scratch on it. Know how long patching and buffing that scratch out would take? :D

I'd hunt corellian butterflies so all you have to worry about is moth dust.
