Post subject:  A dangerous place to live!
First it was tuskans and bandits spawning behind Avian district and disabling my AV21. Now it seems krayt dragons are spawning a mere 1km from Tuskans Bane!

Mira, Tak and myself were doing what seemed easy dewback missions around TB from TB's mission terms. We driving up to the next mission lair, all of us cruising inside my AV-35 when i notice from a distance a large lizard ontop of the lair. For a second I think its someones kimo and they are just stealing our lair spawn. I didnt realize what it really was until it was too late! Mira and Tak had just jumped out of the vehicle when a huge Canyon Krayt runs up and slays Mira. Im still stuck in the vehicle when its suddenly disabled by one giant scaly paw. I immediately start to run when I notice Tak shooting at it! The krayt sees me trying to run from the fiery wreck of my AV-35 and chases me, slaining me with one swipe. Then he turns his attention to Tak who is still bravely trying to shoot it with his T21. Moments later, he is slain and we all taking the clone train back home wondering what the hell a Canyon Krayt was doing out on the dunes just outside of TB. I have screenies and one can notice the wp marker clearly pointing to TB only 1.3k away. I just dont know how to post it here.

Although these are true stories, it takes nothing away from my new found fondness of Tuskans Bane. It is a great city to be in. Just be a bit careful when you decide to wander outside city limits. And if anyone knows why a Krayt is lurking just outside of town, pls explain! :wink:

There have always been Krayts in the area. I remember when I used to run a shop down near the Tusken Village that used to be there, that they used to spawn on that hill beside TB.
I was even in a group fighting a few of them, Obbo used to do a bit o shooting in the old days, and I was accused of ninja looting! :| :shock:

Very cool story E. Now I am glad I wasn't there cause my AV-21 would have gone bye-bye.

Very neat to have Krayts in our back yard. Now we need to go kill them and get their tissues!!

You know i had heard that krayts might spawn in other parts of the Tat southern map, but i just thought it was some bug that may have gotten fixed long ago since i hadnt heard of any spawns happening. Unfortunately i saw it happen myself yesterday :P

when I first moved to TB I lived just outside of town and more often than not I would log into my house and I would have one camped at my front door.

Haven't seen them for a bit, Im glad they returned.

The krayts are kind of a town secret. Like a perk for living here. No one really tells outsiders about them so we can enjoy them for ourselves. The town's resident Krayt family live about 300m north of the cantina and can usually be found there or in a general east/west line from there. I see them almost daily at my factories. As long as too many people don't know about it, then we have our own private krayt grounds. Also, you can find giants and ancients about 2.5km N/NW of the town too.

Hope you don't mind me trolling your forums. They're much more interesting than others lol.

Rumor has it that an old battlehound from the past might just blow through town in the near future... he had a run in or two with the Krayt family when he was last in town...

I was checking the harv field and putting in maint/power.... suddenly, I notice "something" sleeping next to one of the harvesters.... it stood up and I did /gu SHIT!! and pushed my BARC to the max as the Giant Canyon Kryat Dragon chased me..... It soon gave up and returned to its son....

Just a warning for anyone going near my field, watch out for the dragons...
