I've been tossing this idea around for a bit. I'm running it across MG and some other residents in TB, and you for feedback. What I'd like to do once a month is have a Tusken's Bane Auction House in City Hall. For a couple hours (or however long it takes) during a weekend day, people may offer up items for auction. They would be displayed in City Hall for people to browse. It would be a live auction which I think could be exciting and more fun than a 3 day forum auction. The only hitch would be that the town would get a 5% cut of the selling price as a fee to be deposited in the treasury. We would only have X amount of items to auction each time so it would not snowball into a day long event.

Is this something that you may be interested in?

Sounds like a good idea to me. Would be a fresh and fun way to sell many of the loot items and what not we tend to accumulate. As long as, like you mentioned, it didnt turn into an all-day affair.

I like the idea in principle, but, as gui suggested at, it would have to be at a time available to most.

It would be a weekend day. Most likely Sat around 3PM EST. That's Noon on the west coast and 8PM GMT. A good medium I think. I'm thinking a 25 item limit per auction at first and may do more with additional auctioneers if the demand is there.

sounds interesting. I would be interested to see how something like this plays within a game.
