I didn't were to put this topic, but since it is SW:G related I placed it here.

I'm gonna do a format of my computer, because I have had alot of viruses this recent time and I don't think the Norton Anti-vcirus has been effective enough, with the recovery discs, but I wanna keep the data I have from star wars galaxies.

What files do I need to backup and were are they?

What data are you trying to keep? your character macros, and things? or the patches?

If you are trying to keep the patches, you need to basically open up the SWG directory and copy anything that says hotfix, and/or patch.

If you just want the characater based stuff, you just need to copy the profiles folder.

If you have a DVD burner it would be so easy just to copy the whole SWG directory.

So basicly I just copy my whole folder.
Yes I got a DVD burner and about 60 DVD-R's Dunno if they are + or -, but they work.
