Yesterday SWG Producers announced that they will have a House Pack-up Event early next year, followed immediately by a Free Character Transfer Event. House Pack-Up Event Just like last years House Pack-up Event, this will be a limited time event where people can "Destroy" Abandoned/Condemned Player Structures, thus causing them to be packed up and placed in their owners datapad, with all contents remaining. Players will receive rewards for packing up houses, similar to the rewards given out last time. More details to follow.\ Free Character Transfer Once the Pack-Up event has concluded they will have a Limited Time Free Character Transfer event. During this event if you have a Character on a Low Population Server you will be able to move that Character to a High Population Server. Currently they have indicated this will be similar to the Current Character Transfers in regards to what gets transferred, however you will also be able to take Resources and Crated Items with you. The resources will maintain their stats, hwoever it is currently unknown if they will also retain their names. Each Character will only be allowed to transfer once. They are still putting together the lists of Low Pop and High Pop servers. Additional information, and dates, to be announced at a later time. Sounds like some positive news. I will keep you informed of other revelations in the coming months. |
