Fat chance getting me to resub to SWG...although I just might if I had extra cash to blow.

BUT...

The new buddy invite rewards are kinda hilarious!

Quote:
When the new recruit converts their trial account to an active, paid Star Wars Galaxies or Station Access subscription*, you’ll earn exciting rewards such as stylized Toy Models of a Barc Speeder, A-Wing, and Basilisk that can each be programmed to patrol inside your house, plus an exclusive Light Bending Podracer Vehicle!

An A-wing flying around inside the house?! wheeeee!

meh... A screenshot or two of the awings, then I'm happy...

I would say: "hey looks cool. could be great to have some TIE's among them. I wonder if i can do it at home?" And the next thing we is that I have purchased a couple of RC planes, playing with them instead of SW:G...

LOL.

Pull the plug! It's cruel to keep something on life support this long.

SWG is not on ife support.
Yes, it closed down 12 servers but it had 25 servers and now at 13 which for any game that is still alot and its one of the few sci-fi MMOs on the market. I believe that SWG will hit the 10 year mark (June 23, 2013) before closing down even with the upcoming release of SW:TOR.

"Light Bending Podracer Vehicle"

light bending? How does that work? Bending the light around it so it becomes invisible to the naked eye?

'bout the servers... doesn't alot of them seem european? Tempest and Intrepid are as far as I remember european along with Europe-Infinity.

Like myself, a lot of Europeans play with Americans and so would tend to use the American servers. Also, the Euro release was several months after the US one, so the die-hards who got their's shipped for overseas would have been playing on the US servers, then their friends, who waited, would have joined them on those servers rather than play on the Euro ones.
