Hey all. I'm pretty interested in playing some of the Free 2 Play mmo's out there, and was curious about your experiences with them, or your interest in trying them. Please add any F2P games you've run into that aren't listed here and give us whatever info you have on them as well. Runes of Magic I started playing Runes of Magic a while back and found it to be a very fun, FREE, WoW clone. Of course it is far more than just a clone. It's got it's own story line, and there are some welcome differences, but the best part about this is that it's very similar to WoW, but free, making it a good choice for a casual social game. Anybody else playing this one? If so how do you like it? What is your main character's name? How often do you log on? Dungeons & Dragons Online I just found out this one has going Free-2-Play, and I'm very excited about it after reading all the positive player comments, and digging around their website. I plan on starting an account there toward the end of the month. Anybody playing this one? If so how do you like it? What is your main character's name? How often do you log on? Calypso I guess this ones been around for a while now, but a recent story about somebody paying $300,000 in cold, hard cash for an in-game asset caught my attention. Wow! Anybody playing this one? Gui I have not tried any free MMOs. I have been recently curious for a casual web game I can get into and enjoy. I will have a look at the games you listed above. |

I have a D&D account but havent played it in awhile and dont have it installed right now. Currently I am still playing WoW and just downloaded the Star Trek closed beta |
