I've mentioned my friend Zhaan to some of you playing EQ2 as we've looked to grow the quantity and quality of our EQ2 membership. He's a great roleplayer and has several companions I've become friendly with over the last month or so. I wanted you all to take a look and reply with what you think of this proposal he's developed.

He knows about our site and I've e-mailed him about this post.

This post is OOC because I really prefer people to meet my character in person and get their ideas about him from there.

With that said, Latruce suggested I post an informal introduction here and also recommended I read over some of the excellent RP stories your members have posted. He specifically mentioned a series by Vor, which intrigued me because I figured anyone who shared a name with my favorite miniature's game (made by FASA) had to be cool!

I am without a doubt a roleplayer first when it comes to MMORPGs. In every choice I make and in every point I like and dislike about a game they pretty much come back to my roots of table top pen and paper RPGs.

The Highlight of my RPG experience came when as a summer Intern for Pinnacle Entertainment Group (makers of Deadlands) I got to be a GM at both GenCon and Origins. I had a real blast and was totally the right guy in the right place at the right time. Following that opportunity to play with some of the most enthusiastic, talented and fun loving roleplayers it was hard to find a pick up group at my local hobby shop after I graduated college and moved on to my proffessional carreer. More importanly though I'd gotten a taste for MMORPGs in college playing online with friends who were no longer in school.

Since then its been an incredible experience to maintain a hobby with a few good friends regardless of where I live.

I am presently enjoying the tactical challenge of EQ2 and the environment of Antonia Bayle has been very encouraging for roleplay.

I think the best future for Roleplay on Antonia Bayle is large RP guilds who work together and know who eachother are. My fear is that as with so many other games Roleplayers will form tight pockets of good roleplay who are in large part entirely ignorant of eachother.

My goal is to bring talented people of a like mind TOGETHER.

I respect what Avian Alliance has accomplished as a Guild. I'd like to work with you all in creating something together.

accidental double post!

I am in support of this idea 100%, and I know of another group of good people that might also be interested...

How many other groups are we looking at currently?

The bigger pool of good in game friends we build, the better the game will be for all... I know I HATE grouping with PU groups, and I can't / won't solo... so I am all for getting a large group of like minded folks together to really make this game come alive for us.
