Post subject:  Yahoo Racing Manager -BELGIUM- Race Settings, Quals, Results
Working 9 14 9 right now. Pits will be 15 and 30. I experimented with pitting earlier with one driver about 2 laps before the one third mark and his finishing lap seemed to suffer. This time around I will be using exactly the one third and two third points to pit.

I was at 9/15/10 but moving it to 9/14/9 shaved a couple hundreds off

Since I upgrade my engine after the last race, and with the major repairs I've had to make I've been running out of money before I can do any major testing.

I still have to improve my engine stability and engine tuning before the next race.

With my second Sunny-boy I ran the engine up to about 870 or so initially. I only bumped the other chasis and aero up to 40. I've subsequently bumped them to 50% and engine is at 905 now. This driver was started 3 races after my first and is beating him consistently.

geeze talon im happy with a 1:51 at the moment 225km/h not sure theres much more i can do...still have money but im doing 225 with a 814PS and was doing like 220ish with a 760PS

my engine is 960 or something like that. that's a big reason why i'm running fast. the other reason i think is because my top speed for my driver is about 80% or so.

Run a practice lap with high speed as a goal and the high speed stat will rise. The rest are as follows

Starts - Mental and overtaking
Narrow turns - Bend Driving
Wide turns - Bend Driving and High Speed (or top speed, I forget)
Driving in Lee - Several Stats not determined which.
There are others.

Doing this off of memory but I believe these are listed in the help section. If not then green team has a good site with lots of info.

Now thats actually helpful, I didn't know that some of those affected 2 or more stats.

Ripped off straight from green team:

Q'ing 5th with a 01:42,374 at 245 kph.

First is Q'ing with a 01:39,364 at 253 kph, so it doesn't look too good.

Hey Guys!

I am really frustrated with my "Sunny-Boy" driver right now. It took me something like 24 training rounds to get his high speed attribute from 80% to 81%. Good grief. :roll:

I've given up training any more attributes until my engine is maxed out.

I've heard that training stats gets more and more difficult the higher up you go. I will also relay that I asked a question about not gaining stats to the boys on Green Team who have been racing for a while and they agreed with me that occasionally you will not gain stats for a driver in certain categories.

I was training my driver and bend driving was lagging so I started training and after 5 runs on narrow then 5 on wide then 5 back on narrow there was NO GAIN in bend driving. "What gives," I asked and heard the response that occasionally, for seemingly no reason, a driver gains stats hard. It was suggested that I try different stats and resume the training on the bend driving stat another day. They also suggested not doing 15 or 20 practices without checking the driver stat unless I can see incremental improvement in the times I am running. This way you will no you have a tough one. Training the stat on a subsequent race showed normal progress.

One guy on Green Team says insane on 90% + , the example I sighted above by a different guy says you should have 95%. If you are qualifying fairly low it might be worth a try.

Ran on Insane Ambition, and finished.

However I was not happy with my result. Perhaps because I forgot to set my pit stops. I had a driving mistake on lap 2, but other than that I had a clean race.

Finished 15th 4:52 behind the leaders. Yes we had an exact tie for first place, and 7th place, and 11th place. Strange huh?

I was only 2 seconds from 13th, but who the hell cares at that point.
