My interpretation of the trial is that you have access to the "Isle of Refuge" (noob island) only. If you want to go to the mainland you will need a full subscription.

hi there delsana :)

there are some limiting factors involved with city faction. While it is possable to join a guild of opposite faction you will not be able to do guild quests, since they originate from the city in which the guild was created.

it is possible to switch cities, but only up to lvl 18. so if u plan to go with inquisitor or necro u will forced to stay in freeport as these proffesions are achieved at lvl 20.

grid number can be found using the /loc command or by moving your cursor over your compass

Hi again

Ok to know the grid --do---> /loc <-- it will give you 3 grid location
I believe it's the xyz type of grid
Go help in options and do a data base search

Also you can start in Freeport and come to Queynos afterward using the Quest of Betrayal

http://eq2.ogaming.com/db/quests/Freepo ... trayal.php

It's hard to do but possible .

luck

Ok

1 ) you are in EQ2 not sure by what you say .

2) For Lag

a) you should have a least 1g memory ..
b) video card is should be at least 64meg

If you do not have that --there is way to bypass that

To compensate for lag

Go to left button at bottom marked EQ2
Go to Options
Go to display
Go to Performance --choose --> Extreme performance .

This will change all options to remove lag But graphics will suffer

Will try to meet you in Qyenos if you are there and help
I have put you on friend list so will look you you and give all the help I can

Luck

ok, someone clue me in here...is this just a typo? or lack of knowledge about one's own system.... i.e. ignorance.
160 GB of RAM - Potency System Occupation = 152 GB of RAM

Ok the problem is not the video card and driver 128 mg ( 9600xt ) should be enoug

The lag you have experience is the size of you memory of your systeme --512mb is what I had

Look at changing the performance in the game . see my previous post

Aggreed typo

Just check that machine

Product: eMachines T2865
Specs: 2.08-GHz Athlon XP 2800+, 512MB DDR SDRAM, 160GB hard drive, DVD±RW and CD-ROM drives, 17-inch CRT

Ok when you buy a computer the initial windows and components are already installed these actually take up space 8 gb to be exact so no it's not a typo its actually the potency which is the actual memory you have. yes i did go to Extreme Performance but now my games load dif areas slow and also lag a bit in citys.

The graphics card was an after purchase install.

Ok i installed the new graphics driver but now i cant get in my Control Center it gives me an error so for the Catalyst Control Center i can no longer personalize my graphics card or anything any help on this ive tried all my computer knowledge but nothing works.

We use a bigger better monitor more on that when i get home

I think she meant ROM. Though I would love to have that much RAM, either in my machine or my head. Feels like I'm struggling by with only half a gig, especially on Mondays.
