Or deepspace or 0.0 sec space, whatever you want to call it.

I decided to go take a look at low sec space to experience what it was like. I made sure that I had insurance on my Ship and that my clone was up to date and plotted out a course deep into sindicate space.

I have so far done 17 of the 49 jumps in the route and have covered most of the 0.0 space systems. What can I say? They're pretty boring really. From my experiences in something like Freelancer, I expected these sectors to be crawling with waves upon waves of pirate NPCs and pirate players just sitting there to take you out. What I saw was that it's all rather dead and empty really! The only difference between that and high sec space is that there is a complete absence of CONCORD so if you get attacked, you're pretty much on your own, But that's to be expected really!

Most 0.0 systems I encountered are completely devoid of stations. There are a number of asteroid belts which no doubt contain highly valuable minerals. If we were to set up a POS, it looks like 0.0 space would be preferable to 0.1-0.4 space.

These, of course, are observations based on just a dozen or so systems so may not apply to all low sec systems, it is quite positive so far.
