 Post subject: A couple of Questions

Now this is more a topic of the goal that Avian will put in the EVE 'verse.

So first: What are the goals that Avian will put in the EVE Universe?
A: same as SWG, before it screwed up, making a household name within Crafting.
B: A mining corp. with no military to pursue peaceful trust with the clients
C: A trade corp. with no military to pursue peaceful trust with the clients
D: A Mix up of different goal where each individual can pursue what ever he/she wishes.
E: A military mining corp, that takes care of mining areas with a military strength to keep those areas for ourselves
F: A military trade fedaration (<-- gives me the chills everytime I say that, with ep. I back in the head) that takes care of trade routes with a military strength to keep those routes for ourselves.
G: Pirates/Military purely.
H: Add one ourselves that I haven't put on the list.

Already here I think that G is out of the question, based on what ATaT has pursued in SWG, E & F seems vague, but might be nessesary thinking about the nature of many players within EVE

Second: Depending on the choise of the first question what means will we take to pursue that goal?

There are open answers to this question...

Third: If the BoD should decide that military might is nessesary to some degree, may I (if I get in because I have crappy connection here in Denmark) have a position of comming with the capital ships battle tactics? 8)


I presume that we are going to have some battleships in some way, since it is something that we dreamed about in SWG at pre-beta.

Personally, I think our main objective should be to help each other have fun in the game.

I really don't think we need to have huge goals, with the exception of working together to help the group flourish.

I'd say initially:

Then, once people get established:

B: A mining corp. with no military to pursue peaceful trust with the clients

I'd like to make a goal to build our own station and capital ship.... just to experience some of the cool top-end content of the game. But, I realize that will take months (if not years).

But, I'd rather not go to crazy about it yet. If we have more people that get in (and stay in after a month), then we should reconsider for some other goals.
