Post subject:  Joint Mining Op Tuesday 1/3

Ok, looks like we are going to try our first inter corporation mining operation between TCO and Avian. :)

If you plan to participate we will be staging in the Aice system at station AICE II around 6pm EST.

The ore gathered from the op will be split between the two corporations. (If you woud like your ore refined for easier transport and higher profit I will be refining at Aice II after the op) Takes only a minute or two and will allow you to transport the minerals with 60 times less cargo space and sell for a larger profit margin.

Hope to see a lot of you there.

EST is GMT-5 right? so 6pm EST would be 11pm GMT?

If that's the case I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it. We'll have to see.

operation was huge success. I'll post more as Im sure LA and others will.

Numbers where:
217,679 C-Scordite,
424,367 scordite,
432,954 C-veld,
248,582 D-Veld and
2,190,469 Veld
34,782 rich plagi

Total Refining take:
10,671,103 Tritanium,
2,041,848 Pyerite
627,033 Mexallon

of which we got:
5,335,552 Tritanium,
1,020,924 Pyerite
313,517 Mexallon

Next step is finding a buyer. The ranges we are looking for is. Also, large quantities. We dont want to be hauling this all around the 'verse. I'll look tomorrow as should others and post your findings here.
Tritanium 1.5-1.8
Pyerite 3.5-4.5
Mexallon 11.5

a very very nice turn out on both sides!

Yeah this op was a huge success despite there being no Omber to mine.

If we do this again on a day when Omber is rich you can easily triple the income factor as Omber refines as .66 Isogen and Tritanium and .4 Pyerite. (So 1000 Omber refines into 660 Isogen 660 Tritanium and 400 Pyerite)

Isogen sells on average for 110 IPU.

:)

It was a wonderful feeling seeing a dozen people mining a belt to the nub. Can't wait to do it again.

Yeah, except for at one point, my computer ground to a complete halt for five minutes trying to process all the stuff happening on screen!

Sorry I could only stay an hour, would've loved to have stayed longer but it has a nasty habit of waking others in the house up (apparently my keyboard is really loud when typing!!!). Anyway, would love to do it again sometime, would it be possible to start just an hour earlier?

Yeah I think next time we should split up into as many teams as we have haulers and people with guns and hit multiple fields at once.

All the drones make my graphics card beg for mercy. :)

I should have my new cruiser up and running for the next mining op. It'll more than double my mining capabilities. And I'll still feel puny next to the TCO guys.

Ok just got done looking around and Everyshore has not respawned yet.

Still don't know if this is a bug or if the new year also brought new respawn days, but either way when the resources do respawn we should organize an op to gather Omber like mad. :)

I'm up for mining any time. If you see me online and you want to do some mining, just drop me a line. I'd be happy to lend a laser or four. :)

How do you think I felt in my little Navitas? That's way I went all the way over the other side of the belt. :P
Will be great to have the barge up and running in a few days.

If it'll help, I could upgrade from the Hoarder to the Mammoth within a day. I was doing learning 5, but if we're doing more of these ops sooner...the Mammoth has 5% cargo capacity bonus / level as well as 4 low slots and a base of like 5600. With expanders, It'd be a damn sight better than the Hoarder...

FYI, my cable modem wont get a connection. Repair man wont be here until Saturday evening. I will keep trying, but it looks like an issue on Cox's side.

I asked Moge to keep my skills going.

Cannot wait to get back in-game. I love big group mining.
