Right, so... check out the devlog.

This is aimed at folks who want to mess around with the data from the game in order to make out of game resources.

Ok, here's a challenge for you geek-minded peoples!

In the data_misc.rar file there is a spreadsheet that contains, among other things, a complete current map of the galaxy with 3D coordinates and a list of all the jump routes between systems. Now the challenge is, can someone come up with a program that allows you to pick a system and for that given system it reports all the systems within a certain number of jumps from it.

yeesh. Im looking through it now. I'd need to build a DB Map just to make since of a lot of it. They gave us everything, and by everything I mean everything.

I'll probbaly dump with into PHP and start mucking around sometime tonight.

Don't get too excited, these don't exist at the moment!

Well duplicating exists for blueprints. You just have to have an original blueprint. Can't make copies from copies.

And I think that there is a way to find lost technologies thru archeology and maybe hacking. Not entirely sure there.

That's copying, duplicating is something additional and different.
