:D
Is there a trial period? I don't really want to pay to check it out...

If it's anything like freelancer, i'll prolly dig it. Don't really want to go that way unless it totally rocks beyond all that is holy. (which i doubt)

There is a 14 day free trial. Just need your Email Addy and someone can send you a trial key thru the EVE buddy system.

There are restrictions on the trial accounts, but not many. Mostly they prevent you from sending people money (But you can still recieve it) and they prevent you from getting the Industrial ships as a trial account because too many folk were using trial accounts as temorary hauler mules.

But the good news is that should you choose to continue with a payed account the character you used during the free trial will have all their restictions lifted. :)

Oh and EVE does rock beyond all that is holy.

I'm having fun in EVE. As long as you aren't thinking it's some sort of flight sim, you'll be fine. The combat is more strategy than anything. You can be as active as you want to be, too. I spend most of my time mining watching a movie.

Keep an open mind, and you'll be amazed at what EVE has to offer. It's friggin' huge, and I know I haven't even begun to see a hundredth of the content available.

ok its sent. The "process" takes some time. The registering, downloading, etc. e-mails aren't instantaneous so don't get discouraged if it takes 30-45 minutes...sometimes longer.

Plus the download is pretty large.

EDIT:

Oh, and LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING YOU IN GAME...hehe
