Post subject:  Joint Mining Op Tuesday 2/7
For those of you intrested in joining a large mining op tomarrow we will have people mining in Aice and likely Enedore when Aice goes bust.

This op will need Miners and Haulers, so come one come all.

If I can in sick tomorrow (more like exhausted from no sleep with sick children) then I'll be there for part of it. i can work as either hauler or miner (only have an itty 3 though). I can also use combat drones for those pesky RATs if needed.

Any chance you want to make it a bit... interesting? We could head to some .4 or 0.0 space and see how that works.

If so, we'd need some people with big guns, and have to coordinate protection pretty well.

I think it'd be fun. Maybe we could mine as normal for a while (till about 7), and then whoever wants to go for Danger-mining can...

Thoughts?

My thoughts would be.... no. I just bought my BC, and I can't afford to replace it.

Sticking feathers up your butt doesn't make you a chicken :P (which movie is that quote from Angus?)

I might be interested in some fun like this. I suggest we go in Cruisers so they are faster (and we have less to lose). Can anyone map out/bookmark some good locations? If not, yak, I'd be interested in giving this a try.

Well.......maybe in the evening when we have enough people...and after I get a jump clone I might risk loosing one of my BC's to a deep space mining run.

But if I can't get a jump clone I don't want to risk my 9 implants.

I am going to be signing on to mine in about 15 minutes. So I'll see how the mood of the folks allready online is.

I'd hardly call it chicken for a person with very few combat skills to risk a $25 mil battlecruiser that he can't afford to replace. Especially since the BC in question is fitted with crappy light weapons, puny scout drones, and has no defenses worth mentioning.

You guys go right ahead, though.

That's why I suggested going in cruisers, not battle cruisers..

Then again the risk vs reward might not be there. If done, it would require a warp aligned, get the heck out of dodge caravan :). Wouls 0.2 - 0.4 space be possible...we probably need to run missions in there to find out the strength of rats in those areas.

Otherwise, Aice/Enedore mining is pretty straightforward. I think I might purchase some drone Miner II's to see how much better they work out.

I left right after Yak. Not much could get done with two haulers and no miners, and it was much to late for me to travel to get my BC for mining.

Sorry folks. Something is wrong with my computer. I can only usethe laptop right now.

I signed on briefly last night before my computer freked out and I didn't even get around to grabbing the escrow and refining it. I have someone comming to look at the computer this afternoon, but if he has to order a partI might not be in game for a couple days....or longer.

I'll sign on with the laptop and update when I nkow more.
