coo... thanks for the link... (actually interested since i started playing a few weeks ago) Course only seen like 2 other avians since then, but whatever. And dayam, those are some nice looking ships. |

since your new you may not have seen this. Its a to scale depiction of all the ships in EVe. |

Unless something has changed, the new graphics engine is for DirectX 10, which is for Windows Vista only. |

No that's still the deal, and I'm pretty sure it's part of Kali 3 which won't be out until late spring / early summer of '07... Obo, when are you going to stop training and start playing again? |

They're doing two graphical updates, actually. One is for DX9, and the other is for DX10 (Vista only). DX9 update should be coming in Kali 2 i think. |

yeah there will be 2 clients... more and more I'm thinking of not buying a new PC, but just upgrading to Vista as I've got the memory and CPU covered... and will have the video card horsepower as well now that ATI is releasing the x1950 PRO on AGP some time before Christmas... |

The choice is to not upgrade to DX10 by not getting Vista, really. |

I have one good machine at home with most of the latest goodies minus the dual core stuff thats great with all things direct x 9.0. Im going to wait a year at least with Vista and DirX 10.0 before I think about upgrading, the bugs will be shaken out by then and prices will begin to drop. |
