Hehe, I think we assimilated the last of the EVE Avians into TCO. But we still use the Avian/Tco chat in case any wayward souls return to us.

I'm always tempted, but just don't have the time. I'm not even on WoW as much as I'd like to be anymore. I am still getting the EVE magazine, and every now and again I check the news on EVE. It is definitely something I'm considering for the future, but not at the moment. |

Im pretty much using this month to train up Learning skills to max and other things I wouldnt want to do while Im actually playing. I've tinkered ingame a bit but without activating moge (my miner) as well there isnt a lot for me to do. |

I am in the Red Frog Investments of the Daikoku Trade Syndicate now, but I am trying to keep an eye on the Avian/TCO channel, as well as the friends list to see if Avians log on... I am basicall on about every day....for at least a couple of hours. |

Whenever I think about logging in to do some mining I tend to get that "would rather drive toothpicks under my fingernails" feeling. I might have to start training combat skills so I can actually do something else  .

Yeah I have swayed away from mining myself and now fly a battleship that I use to do missions. Which is generally pretty fun. The every increasing incursions into low sec systems has gotten my ship blown to pieces a few times, but the 120 beats per second my heart tries to do while I am sneaking about in places player pirates hunt...well the rush is kinda fun. But the AHHHHHH! *Boom* when I get ganked is not.

yeah I didnt follow it very closely but Cally was one of the more well known players and she pulled off a massive scam that netted billions, maybe trillians of ISK. The boards have tons of posts on it and it is fair to say that it rocked the Eve world. All the while CCP hasn't done much about it. CCP looks at corp scams as a way of the game so long as you do not break the End user agreement which I don't think they did. If you can work for a year or more on one scam and win, well I guess you did just that - won. She now has her sig set to 'official winner of Eve' |

People are greedy, and lazy by nature. They want to make a quick buck, so they gave him their money to invest, expecting to get more back in return. the guy had a pretty good racket there. It was 780 billion he made off with. |

OK Ill do that. Most of my playing is semi afk mining right now since I am so new. Thats no longer going to work so well because I got up to mining level IV and the two Miner II's I have now fill up my dessies cargo hold pretty quick 
Its amazing how that extra 50% speed makes mining a lot faster. I had two full Industrial III loads in about two hours, and thats just mining condensed scordite. What I might try to do now in .9 space is just set my industrial mining a massive scordite with the Laser II, and then surf websites
Ill look up the channel and see if I can find you guys. Im Aravorn in game. |
