If your main reason for coming up to 0.0 is mining I would look at the Hulk mining barge. It can tank 0.0 rats and with T2 drones you can do a decent job killing them as well. You can train that much faster than Battleship V.

Right now I have Moniker tank in her Raven and Moge mines in his Covetor. I get around 1150m3 per minute.

I've been in 0.0 for the last two weeks with a Corp mainly ratting. I've had fun and made some good ISK, but I'm concluding I'm not really ready for it. Losing 3 Battleships has made me realize the limitation of my character.

Kyp where is the option to automatically update eve skill show room. I downloaded the cutting edge version and played around with a few things I hadn’t used until now. But I could not find the Skill Room update option.

This reminds me that I do need to get glasses...
