Looks like it ships tomorrow!

Also includes another poster which should adorn my office wall nicely. :)

I have all of them and EON is one of the rare mags that I read cover to cover. To me it is well worth it.

yeah, a bit expensive...but a very neat, unique feature of the game.

I re-read a guide to tanking on the throne which reminded me that I need to get some more skills trained

Another question: Does the cost paid for the mag (ie $14.95) include the cost of shipping or does that have to be paid extra?

pretty good issue.
Overview of Moon mining, mission running and a very long article on planetary flight.

The Moon mining article kinda makes me want to get a POS. :)

It's an OK issue. The planetary flight article is excellent as is the moon mining. Other than that the issue is 'just ok'

It's, er, coming. ;)

Actually planetary flight has been implemented in in-house development versions of EVE for a long time. The main reason it hasn't been put in yet is because they want to have a ground game to go with it (probably an RTS sort of thing) before they bring it in. They've been working on Kali, however, so they only have a small team working on this stuff at present. It's likely to be coming in the content expansion following Kali, though.

Thanks for the articles. I got the moon mining and the battleship one, if you have any others already scanned and have the time, send whatever you got my way.

This game is beginning to take over my life

The wife just doesn't understand why I leave it on all night and afk fill up my Iteron III thru afk mining in .9 space. :D :D

Another half a mil or so in the bank

No problemo guys. Aranarth, I sent you 3 more e-mails with articles but they get bounced back...no more disk or some such response.

PM me an alternate e-mail account (maybe yahoo or google?) and I'll try again. Sorry I missed you this weekend, didn't have a sustained play session to make it out your way :(

Ill PM you my work email.

I wish you could have seen that mining Op we did in Adirain (o.4 space), we had anywhere from 5 to 9 barges going for around 18 to 20 hours on saturday and a huge impressive overflight including gate watches at the entrances to that zone.

When we cleaned out adirain of ALL Omber and Jaspet, we went to Lisbaetanne as a group and this was the response we got from another corp:

It was a pretty impressive site, I participated on and off for about 5 hours saturday, at one point we were filling a jet can about every 4 minutes........

I cant remember exactly what we warped into that belt with but we had several battleships and HAC's in the mix as well as the miners, haulers, ans other overflight, plus at least frigates watching the gates............

Edit: I just found out we took out about 5 Freighter loads of Omber and jaspet (and some Plag).

This was by far the coolest thing I have been involved with in EVE thus far. The next time we have an OP Dave Ill let you know.

It was getting 9 barges lined up and putting minerals in one can was quite a feat ;)

We had 3 to 4 haulers doing nothing but carting the stuff out to the local station.

Here are the units of each we took out, someone roughly calc'ed at $414M ISK depending upon where you sell it of course, and if someone with perfect refining skills processed it you would of course get more for the minerals.

Here's the raw numbers.

531,736 Jaspet
53,048 Pristine Jaspet
134,059 Pure Jaspet
171,283 Golden Omber
1,333,641 Omber
604,742 Silvery Omber
190,284 Azure Plagioclase
280,258 Plagioclase
137,162 Rich Plagioclase
93,097 Condensed Scordite
118,985 Massive Scordite
227,743 Scordite
141,252 Concentrated Veldspar
42,164 Dense Veldspar
45,819 Veldspar

I am really NOT trying to brag, thats not my intent, Im just trying to show you the huge possibilities of what can be accomplished by being part of a good alliance.

Can you imagine a million omber? or half a million jaspet?

Holy waa, as we like to say in Wisconsin ;)
