Remember to set a long skill training before patch time. The servers will go down at 0200 GMT (9PM EST tonight!), so make sure you log on to put a long skill in training if you don't have one already. Remember, patches of this magnitude can go badly, so skills that will last you a week or more are best. |

I think it all went pretty well. I logged in a took a look around. New skills, new ships, HP boost for some others, Contracts, Some performance upgrades. Pretty good. |

Some people have been bitching about it but I like the new map. One thing I dont like is how loot and wrecks are working, it just makes it tough to keep track of what ytou have already looted (vice salvaged). Right before I logged off today, one of my corpmates suggested I "tag" the wrecks already looted to keep better track. I think Ill try that. For those who dont know, wrecks replaced loot cans, and you can loot them just like a can (except they persist), and you can salvage them with a salvage add on on, after looting, they change after salvage, but till persisit Kind of an interesting twist to the game. |

Just had my first chance to check things out in Kali today. By far my favorite thing is everyone now has Instas! You can manually select any station, belt or stargate and warp tp 0km or you can just do autopilot which makes you warp out at the usualy 15k. Excellent fix to the 'dont copy instas' spam that the Devs used to system message 
I also like the new contracts system. You can now search for items and courier missions seem a little better - though havent tried any. |
